"I built this because I struggled to mix my own 78-track song."

I am a musician and a systems architect. Recently, I had a 78-track session loaded with dense cinematic instruments. It was so muddy and congested that I almost gave up and paid a professional mix engineer to finish it for me.

The frustration of that led me to build VisiStage—an idea I conceptualized decades ago. When I opened that exact same broken session inside this plugin, the problem was instantly, glaringly obvious.

My massive cinematic sounds were recorded with heavy, baked-in stereo delays. My traditional DAW pan pots were lying to me—hiding the fact that these instruments were secretly bleeding across the entire stage and clogging my center channel.

I didn't need a better pair of ears. I just needed to turn the lights on. Once you mix with VisiStage, going back to a traditional mixing console feels like flying blind.

Traditional pan meters lie. Our dynamic True Position Shadow uses real-time stereo pan analysis to show you where every instrument is actually sounding in spatial space versus its manual grid placement—revealing spatial smearing, phase diffusion, and stereo bleed in real-time.

Real-Time Visual Telemetry

Spot frequency traffic jams in seconds. Each track node provides instant visual feedback:

  • Track Icon (Live EQ Curve): Solid real-time 64-bin FFT spectrum shape displaying active playback frequencies.
  • Icon Ghost (Peak Hold): Translucent envelope capturing maximum spectral peaks and historical footprint.
  • Icon Shadow (RMS) & Stereo Width Ghost Shadow: Floor disk representing low-frequency RMS weight, with an outer ring for stereo width (turning into a white dashed line when out-of-phase).
  • Crest Factor Core: Central starburst geometry that flashes and expands based on the peak-to-RMS ratio, giving immediate visual feedback for transients and dynamic compression.
  • Reverb Mist Haze: Floor haze behind distant sources visualizes local room reflection energy.
  • Selection Box & EQ Frequency Markers: Selecting an icon displays a white targeting frame with 50Hz to 10kHz vertical frequency markers for exact spectral reference at a glance.

The Unity Gain Workflow & Console Deck

Leave your native DAW faders at 0 dB. VisiStage features a high-density console deck directly above the 3D stage with Logic-calibrated logarithmic faders, dual LED peak meters with 90-tick hold, latched overload LEDs, numeric dB editing, and quick-action BYPASS ALL, MUTE ALL, and UNSOLO ALL buttons. Assign custom group colors from an integrated 96-color palette matrix, fold away child channels with group collapse chevrons, and enjoy absolute safety with the pinned, isolated Master Dock Plate for your Stereo Out.

Drag, Drop & Soundstage Expansion

Drag inside an icon's Selection Box to position it across the 3D stage, or drag the left/right handles to adjust volume. Expand your virtual room from a base "Studio" setting (8m x 12m) all the way up to a massive "Stadium" (40m x 100m). Past the Studio boundary, our spatial expansion engine takes over—preventing panoramic collapse deep in the room and keeping hard-panned instruments anchored wide at the wings. Select from 9 global Environment Profiles (Studio A/B, Stone Chamber, Concert Hall, Scoring Stage, Stadium, Cathedral, Cavern, Ethereal) or dial in object-level Track Physics Overrides (Distance Rolloff, Air Bypass, Acoustic Presence, Width Conservation, and Acoustic Isolation).

Group Lasso & Bulk Mixing

Lasso a group of instruments directly on the stage floor, or select them in the console deck. Use Shift + Click or Cmd + Click to refine your selection. Move entire clusters across the stage together while preserving their relative spatial layout, or create dedicated VCA Group Master strips with relative gain offset controls.

The "Clutter to Clean" Shortcut

Need headroom fast? Select your tracks, hold Shift, and drag the outer volume handle of any selected icon to scale the gain of all selected tracks simultaneously. Build your mix from the ground up, watching each instrument claim its physical territory.

Absolute Visual Control

A comprehensive slide-out settings panel gives you full control over both acoustic environment physics and visual display parameters. Fine-tune Live Icon Reactivity Speed, Ghost Peak Hold Sustain/Decay, Ghost Opacity, RMS Base Shadow Opacity, Reverb Mist Opacity, and Crest Factor Core Intensity. Use top-bar pill switches to instantly toggle TRUE POSITION and REVERB MIST overlays on or off to unclutter your workspace.

Scale the VisiStage window to fill a second monitor, giving yourself a massive visual mixing canvas.
